Positions update(and some general musings)

I’ve made some changes during the last month or so and I figured it is worth noting these here.

In alphabethical order

Sold out of

Advanced Medical Solutions(AMS). Waited for a couple of weeks to see what if there are any other bidders and then sold at 281p

BTG(not much happening, so would rather reinvest elsewhere). sold at 110p

GetBusy(I’ve noted my concerns in a post). Sold all at 72p

Gooch & Housego. Sold after the takeover announcement at £12.1

Greggs. After the results and the subsequent short covering, sold all at £19.3

Mitie. Again, after the takeover sold all at around £2.8

Reduced:

Keller after the great results. Top sliced at around £33. Might re-enter

Where has the money gone?

Bought more

Volex at about £5 as I thought the selling from the AIM funds is finished and there is a likelyhood the results would be good(which they were)

MTI wireless. Note published. Good results and excellent conversation with the company.

MSI. after the last results, managed to get a big top up at around £13.5. Share price has recovered since. I have great expectations here.

TJX. Bought some more at $133. I think this is oversold and a long term winner.

Cash. Sitting on quite a bit after the recent takeovers which I sold out of.

Over the last month and a bit a few noteworthy results which moved the shares. Salesforce came good and just as I suspected(that the SaSpocalypse drama is overblown and market leaders will benefit not suffer). MSI announced a good contract win and Volex had stellar results which were hiding in plain sight. While I rarely comment on the overall market level, it seems very elevated given what is going on in the world(Iran war still ongoing, massive budget deficits and high bond yields).
